Kolkata Kolkata I have been living here in Kolkata since one year, and now its time to jot down about one of my favorite places. Since childhood I have likings for this ‘city of joy’. I always had a hidden wish to stay here for some time. Amidst its chaos and pollution I find a positive vibes blows through the city. It has traffic congestion, overpopulation, poverty and other logistic problems but it shocks and charms its visitors at the same time. I have heard people saying Kolkata is very dirty and congested. I would like to tell them that if you look for a clean and beautiful city then go to Delhi, and for rich and celebrity its Mumbai, for tech savvy then its Bengaluru but the city with the soul is Kolkata. Kolkata embraces and leaves its visitors with little bit of Kolkata in every body’s heart. It is a city where bygones and new coexist together with perfect rhythm. The influence of British Raj can be felt in every walk of the city. It is an amazing place where chaos
